Steve Hackett - Till We Have Faces - 1984

Till We Have Faces es el octavo ábum solista del brillante guitarrista británico  ex miembro de la banda Genesis en sus días de rock progresivo.

Un álbum que por su fecha de publicación fue pionero en la fusión del rock y elementos de "world music".

La mayor parte del disco fue grabado en Brasil, y la mezcla final realizada luego en Londres.

MATILDA SMITH-WILLIAMS HOME FOR THE AGED

El título del álbum proviene de una novela de C.S.Lewis, un autor de gran influencia en Hackett.

La portada, como la mayoría de sus discos, es una pintura de su (ahora ex) esposa, Kim Poor.
En realidad la ilustración llevaba el título de "Silent Sorrow in Empty Boats", por la canción de Genesis de "The lamb lies down on Broadway", que integra una serie de pinturas dedicadas a interpretar visualmente algunos temas históricos de la banda.
