Pink Floyd - Live at Pompeii - 1972

"Live at Pompeii" es una película que muestra a la banda británica Pink Floyd en un concierto sin público en el anfiteatro de las ruinas de Pompeya.El filme fue dirigido por Adrian Maben y grabado durante el mes de octubre de 1971.

ECHOES PART I

La ejecución de "Echoes", "One of These Days" y "A Saucerful of Secrets" fueron filmadas entre el 4 de octubre y el 7 de octubre de 1971, y el resto fueron filmadas en un estudio de París junto con proyecciones del anfiteatro de Pompeya. Las secuencias de París fueron grabadas a finales de 1971 y comienzos de 1972, y se distinguen porque allí Rick Wright no tenía barba.

ONE OF THESE DAYS

La primera versión fue distribuida en septiembre de 1972, mientras que en agosto de 1974 salió otra versión a la que se le agregaron filmaciones hechas durante las sesiones del "The Dark Side of the Moon" en los estudios Abbey Road.

Posteriormente saldría la versión del director, "Director´s cut" con material adicional, imágenes espaciales y efectos visuales modernos adicionados por Maben.Ésta versión fue editada en dvd en 2003.
